After landing in Cape Town, collect your hire vehicle and make your way towards the Waterfront complex. Your first three nights will be best spent in the trendy bustling heart of the city in the V&A Waterfront. The complex is a modern re-developed harbour with shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment and pleasure boats. The selected hotel is one of the smaller and more personal establishments at the V&A and enjoys views across the harbour.
Enjoy two full days in Cape Town during which you will have time to experience some of the many varied sights of this area. Cape Point nature reserve is a beautiful area to visit, with Boulders Beach penguin colony en-route, this area is the World’s smallest floral kingdom and boasts the unique fynbos vegetation. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are also well worth a visit, as is Table Mountain, the Waterfront area, Robben Island and the many city museums. Breakfast included.

Drive south from Windhoek today and arrive at the luxurious Sossusvlei Dune Lodge and relax this afternoon around the beautiful pool or in your suites. In addition, there are many adventure activities such as sand boarding, tandem parachuting, fishing & quad biking which can be arranged prior to arrival. We can also recommend some excellent day trips including the marine sanctuary of Sandwich Harbour, a unique environment comprising towering dunes, a freshwater lagoon and the wild Atlantic Ocean. Alternatively, a half day boat cruise from Walvis Bay may offer the opportunity to see dolphins, fur seals and many species of marine birds.
Situated at 4 Sam Nujoma Road, Swakopmund Boutique Hotel is conveniently located close to the centre of Swakopmund and a stone’s throw away from the beach. Continue your journey this morning, driving towards Damaraland. The scenery changes slowly today from wide, open gravel plains to the mountainous region of Damaraland. Perhaps take a detour to visit the fur seal colony of Cape Cross which opens each day at 10am.
Accommodation is in 8 igloo-shaped double bungalows, allowing a maximum of 16 guests at a time, emphasizing the peace and quiet of the camp. Outside each bungalow is an en-suite bathroom with a shower, as well as a private veranda, overlooking the surrounding plains. They all have an in-room safe.
You may like to take an optional Twyfelfontein excursion this afternoon. The drive will include visits to the Burnt Mountain, the Organ Pipes, as well as to the fascinating Bushman Engravings. Ongava Lodge is located in a private nature reserve bordering the southern section of the famous Etosha National Park. In addition to the early morning game drives that are offered from the lodge into Etosha itself, you will be able to enjoy viewing the many species present around the lodge grounds during afternoon drives. Many fascinating species can be found in Etosha and on the Ongava concession, and you may hope to see animals including lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, giraffe, zebra & antelope in addition to many bird species. The lodge waterhole situated in front of the main deck provides the perfect place to relax and watch the movements of the many animals quenching their thirst.

Transfer by light aircraft to the heart of the Okavango Delta today. You will arrive at Camp Okavango in time for brunch, followed by a siesta and a late afternoon activity.
Activities here take the form of mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions in the shallow waters surrounding the island, motor boat cruises through the nearby channels and guided game walks on the surrounding islands.
Enjoy dinner in the thatched dining room overlooking the lush gardens, and perhaps listen for grazing hippos later in the evening while enjoying the ambiance of after dinner drinks around the campfire. In the morning, rise early for a light breakfast before setting off in a motor boat to one of the surrounding islands where you will explore the area on foot with your guide. Continue your journey today by flying across the Chobe National Park, to Kasane and the Chobe River front. At Kasane Airport you will be met by a Game Lodge driver and escorted the short distance into the Park and to the Lodge. The well established Chobe Game Lodge is the only lodge situated on the river front within the Chobe National Park borders.
This lovely lodge offers fantastic views across the river and excellent game viewing opportunities on guided game drives and motor boat cruises. The wildlife viewing is renowned, and makes this area a prime tourist destination. The annual zebra migration in May is a special feature of the area, but the visitor may see a wide range of antelope including sable, roan, oribi, reedbuck, and the strikingly colourful Chobe bushbuck, which has much stronger white markings than those found further south. Small herds of lechwe can be found on the grassy floodplains, and this is the only area south of the Zambezi River where puku can be seen. Giraffe and warthog are common, and lion occur throughout the area. All meals and activities included.
Transfer back to Kasane today and onwards to Livingstone in Zambia by road & river. This morning you will be flown north-easterly into the small town of Kasane. Here our local transfer company will be waiting to pick you up and drive the 15km to the Kazangula Border. After completing the formalities (assisted by your guide), you will be taken by small motor boat across the river and into Zambia.
Your stay at Sindabezi Island camp begins with either a short boat ride or a guided canoe trip down the Zambezi. Along the way there are numerous opportunities for game viewing, as we pass close to the shores of the Zambezi National Park where many animals wander to find water at the river’s edge.
Inclusive activities consist of sunrise and sunset boat trips on the Zambezi, guided canoe excursions, island lunch with guided walk, fishing with equipment provided, a visit to the Falls on the Zambian side (entry fees not included), a game drive in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park (entry fees not included), a walk in the gorges below the Falls, cultural visit to the Livingstone museums (entry fees not included) or a shopping trip on the Zambian side of the Falls – obviously not all of these can be done in a 2 night stay!
