Day 1: Windhoek |

Arrive in Windhoek, collect your hire vehicle and transfer to your accommodation at Rivendell Guest House, located in a quiet suburb close to the city centre. Stay in a double/twin room with en-suite bathroom facilities. Explore the shops and restaurants of the city. Breakfast included. |

Days 2 & 3: Desert Homestead , near Sesriem |

Set off this morning for the dunes of the Namib Desert, near Sesriem and Sossusvlei. The drive should take approximately 5 hours and you will arrive at Desert Homestead guest farm this afternoon. This beautifully decorated and friendly establishment has a bar, restaurant and pool, optional horse riding or nature drives within this spectacular area can be arranged. On the morning of day 8, wake early to drive the +/- 90km through Sesriem and the dune fields to Sossusvlei. Most of the road from the National Park gates is on tar, the last 5km are sandy 4x4 roads. Explore the dunes around the saltpan of Sossusvlei, and maybe walk across the sand to Dead Vlei, a bizarre collection of ancient camelthorn trees and a photographers dream. Breakfast & dinner included. |

Days 4 & 5: Swakopmund |

Continue your journey by heading northwards this morning, through mountain passes to Walvis Bay and on to Swakopmund. This town is a picturesque resort with many good seafood restaurants and shops as well as an interesting museum and aquarium. You will stay for two nights in Sea Breeze, a lovely and very friendly guest house located on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Breakfasts included. A highly recommended optional day trip to the marine sanctuary of Sandwich Harbour can also be included, just ask for details. |

Day 6: Twyfelfontein, Damaraland |

You will drive north today, along the coast road maybe making a diversion to Cape Cross to visit the largest fur seal colony in Southern Africa. Turning inland towards Damaraland, you will travel past the Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain, to Twyfelfontein Country Lodge. The drive should take approximately 4 hours, maybe take an excursion to the Twyfelfontein rock etchings and paintings this afternoon. This area is covered in numerous fascinating examples of San rock art and is well worth a visit where a local guide will explain the area to visitors. Breakfast & dinner included. |

Day 7: Waterberg Wilderness Lodge |

Depart from Twyfelfontein this morning and drive south down to Waterberg Plateau Park. The lodge is surrounded by the national nature conservancy of Waterberg National Park which is home to a number of threatened species such as buffalo, rhino, leopard, vulture and other antelope. It is also a haven for over 200 species of birds. The Waterberg Wilderness Lodge is situated on the farm Otjosongombe which extends from the foot of the Waterberg up to the plateau, therefore the lodge is the only one in the Waterberg region and can offer its guests guided hiking tours the Waterberg Plateau. Dinner, breakfast & a guided walk included. |

Day 8: Windhoek |

Return to Windhoek this afternoon, a journey of around 3.5 hours. Stay overnight at Rivendell guest house. Breakfast included.

Days 9, 10 & 11: Gunn's Camp, Okavango Delta |

Take your scheduled flight from Windhoek to Maun today, followed by a light aircraft transfer to Gunn's Camp across the winding waterways of the Delta. You will spend three nights at Gunn's which has permanently sited en-suite tents under a thatch canopy. Meals will be served in the elevated dining hall and the evening can be enjoyed overlooking the magnificent floodplain. The days will be spent exploring the area in traditional dugout canoes, poling through the low level floodplains that surround the adjacent islands whilst in search of game. Game walks on nearby islands with your poler/ guide will also be undertaken. You will return to camp for a hearty lunch and a siesta break from the heat of the day around camp, then set off in the late afternoon for another excursion. All meals, most drinks & all activities included.
NOTE THAT MOKORO & MOTOR BOAT ACTIVITIES ARE DEPENDENT ON THE WATER LEVEL WHICH CAN BE LOW FROM JANUARY TO JULY. |

Days 12 & 13: Camp Moremi, Moremi Game Reserve |

Continue by light aircraft across the Okavango Delta's maze of waterways to the Xakanaxa area of the Moremi Game Reserve. This luxurious lodge is one of the few to be located inside the Game Reserve and as such enjoys a prime position in one of Africa's most exciting wildlife areas. Relax around the bar or swimming pool before taking part in an afternoon game drive or boat cruise and dining this evening in the traditional thatch dining area, overlooking Xakanaxa Lagoon. The following morning, take an early game drive with a professional Camp Moremi guide to explore this amazing area. Enjoy the variation in the local environment, from expansive, open floodplains and shallow lakes to dense mopane woodland. Some of the many species that may be found in this area include leopard, lion, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, lechwe, kudu, sitatunga and various birds. Return to camp for a sumptuous brunch and relax during the heat of the day before setting out again this afternoon for another game drive. Accommodation is in luxurious en-suite Meru style tents which are raised on teak decks and secluded in the woodland fringe, overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon. All meals, most drinks & all activities included. |

Day 14: Maun to Windhoek |

Return by aircraft to Maun airport today in time to connect with your flight to Windhoek. |
