Days 1, 2 & 3: Cape Town |

Land at Cape Town International airport and pick up your hire car to drive to your hotel for the next three nights, located close to Camps Bay. The Twelve Apostles Hotel is an exclusive establishment overlooking the ocean, situated just a short drive from the Victoria & Albert waterfront and many restaurants, shops and swimming beaches. Each spacious, airy room enjoys stunning sea or mountain views and is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, phone, safe and mini bar. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, bar, swimming pools and a private cinema. Over the next three days, relax and enjoy this cosmopolitan city, visit the many museums, art galleries & markets or explore Robben Island and the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens. Day 4: Windhoek |

Fly from Cape Town to Windhoek with Air Namibia this evening, collect your hire vehicle and transfer to your accommodation at the Heinitzburg Hotel, an elegant and exclusive establishment situated high in the hillsides of Windhoek overlooking the city. Explore the shops and restaurants of the city if time allows. Stay in luxurious surroundings, maybe enjoy dinner in the excellent hotel restaurant. Breakfast included.

Days 5 & 6: Little Kulala Lodge |

Set off this morning for the dunes of the Namib Desert, Sesriem and Sossusvlei. The drive should take approximately 5 hours and you will arrive at Kulala Wilderness Lodge this afternoon. This beautifully decorated and relaxing establishment has a bar, restaurant and pool. Each private chalet has a roof top sleeping platform where you may choose to enjoy the spectacular night sky in comfort.
Wake early on day 6 and take an inclusive trip into Sossusvlei. Kulala Lodge has a private entrance to the National Park from where you will make your way through the magnificent dune fields to Sossusvlei, an ancient saltpan which occasionally floods with water in years of exceptional rainfall. Explore the dunes around the saltpan of Sossusvlei, and maybe walk across the sand to Deadvlei, a bizarre collection of ancient camelthorn trees and a photographers dream.
Return to the lodge for an afternoon siesta, maybe take a nature drive this afternoon, or relax around the pool. Dinner & breakfast included on day 5, all meals & activities included on day 6. |

Days 7 & 8: Swakopmund |

Continue your drive northwards, through mountain passes to Walvis Bay and on to Swakopmund, maybe stopping at the Walvis Bay Lagoon en route to view the amazing variety of birds that inhabit this area. Swakopmund is a picturesque resort with many good seafood restaurants and shops as well as an interesting museum and aquarium. You will stay for two nights at the Hansa Hotel. This beautiful old building is situated in the centre of Swakopmund, close to shops and restaurants as well as the main beaches. Breakfast included. A highly recommended optional day trip to the marine sanctuary of Sandwich Harbour can also be included, just ask for details. |

Day 9: Vingerklip Lodge, Damaraland |

Continue your journey this morning, driving towards Damaraland, the journey should take around 4 hours. You will arrive at Vingerklip Lodge this afternoon. The lodge has a wonderful viewing deck overlooking the dry, boulder strewn plains. Maybe make an excursion to the Twyfelfontein rock etchings and paintings this afternoon, a local guide will escort you around the ancient hillsides. This area is covered in numerous fascinating examples of San rock art and is well worth a visit where a local guide will explain the area to you. The ' Burnt Mountain ', an interesting area of black, volcanic rock, is also close by. Dinner & breakfast included. |

Days 10 & 11: Ongava Lodge, Etosha National Park |

Depart this morning for your drive to Etosha National Park, Namibia's premier wildlife reserve. Ongava is located in a private nature reserve bordering the Etosha National Park. In addition to the early morning and late afternoon game drives that are offered from the lodge into Etosha itself, you will be able to enjoy viewing the many species present around the lodge grounds.
The waterhole situated in front of the main deck provides the perfect place to relax and watch the movements of the many animals quenching their thirst. The accommodation is in luxurious brick & thatch chalets and a bar, dining area and swimming pool blend in to the surrounding environment. Day 12: Windhoek |

Return to Windhoek today and the Heinitzburg Hotel, for your last night in Namibia. Breakfast included. |

Days 13 & 14: Moremi Game Reserve |

Fly from Windhoek to Maun today, and onwards to the Moremi Game Reserve via light charter aircraft. Arrive at Camp Moremi this afternoon and relax around the bar or swimming pool before enjoying a three course dinner this evening in the traditional thatch dining area, overlooking Xakanaxa Lagoon.
The following morning, take an early game drive with a professional Camp Moremi guide to explore this amazing area. Enjoy the variation in the local environment, from expansive, open floodplains and shallow lakes to dense mopane woodland. Return to camp for a sumptuous brunch and relax during the heat of the day before setting out again this afternoon for another game drive.
Accommodation is in luxurious en-suite Meru style tents which are raised on teak decks and secluded in the woodland fringe, overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon. All meals, local beverages and activities included. |

Days 15 & 16: Camp Okavango, Okavango Delta |

Transfer by small motor boat through the papyrus lined channels and open lagoons this morning to Camp Okavango, located on a remote island in the depths of the pristine Okavango Delta. Your boat transfer will take approximately 3 hours and your guide will point out highlights of this unique area during your journey. You will arrive at Camp Okavango in time for brunch, followed by a siesta and a late afternoon activity. Activities here take the form of mokoro (dug out canoe) excursions in the shallow waters surrounding the island, motor boat cruises through the nearby channels and game walks on the surrounding islands.
Enjoy dinner in the thatched dining room overlooking the lush gardens, and perhaps listen for grazing hippos later in the evening while enjoying the ambiance of after dinner drinks around the campfire. The following morning, rise early for a light breakfast before setting off in a motor boat to one of the surrounding islands where you will explore the area on foot with your guide. Walking in Africa is an exhilarating experience and the perfect way to learn about the unique ecosystem that supports such a wide variety of flora & fauna.
You will walk in small groups and your guide will explain fascinating facts about animal behaviour, vegetation and culture as you walk. Accommodation here is very similar to Camp Moremi , in raised en-suite Meru style tents. There is also a beautiful and luxurious honeymoon suite with a sunken bath and private lounge! Day 17: Chobe River Front |

Take a charter flight from Camp Okavango up to Kasane and the Chobe River front today. You will stay at Chobe Game Lodge tonight, the only lodge situated on the river front within the Chobe National Park borders. This lovely lodge offers fantastic views across the river and excellent game viewing opportunities on guided game drives and motor boat cruises. Enjoy a boat cruise this afternoon, and marvel at the colours as the sun sets to the chorus of a local hippo pod. All meals & activities included. |

Days 18 & 19: Royal Livingstone Hotel, Livingstone |

You will be transferred by road and ferry across the border into Zambia and Livingstone today. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the magnificent Victoria Falls , a truly spectacular highlight of Southern Africa. You will stay at the Royal Livingstone Hotel, located right on the edge of the Zambezi River and overlooking the Falls to which you will have unlimited access. You may also like to arrange some of the many optional activities available in the small town of Livingstone, including helicopter or small plane scenic flights, white water rafting or boat cruises.
