Pick up time at about 10h00 in Windhoek. Drive via Okahandja and Omaruru. In the afternoon we reach Uis, it is another one-hour drive to Hungarob Gorge, the starting point of our 3-day hike to Königstein. Overnight in the gorge (700m above sea level).

Day 2: Wasserfallflache

We take approximately 6-8 hours to ascend the mountain to the "Wasserfallfläche" (1950m above sea level), our base for the Königstein ascent tomorrow. After 500m / 2.5 hours we rest for a short while. Our lunch break is a further 300m / 1.5 hours up. In the afternoon the terrain is even steeper and we will have to surmount some big boulders and granite rock plates. The overwhelming view makes all the effort worthwhile. The Numas Mountain (2518m) is the third highest mountain in the Brandberg massive. Overnight under a thousand of stars in a sandy riverbed (ascend 11,300m).

Day 3: Konigstein

Today the peak is visible for the first time. The view from the "Top of Namibia" is incredible. On our way back to base camp we will have a closer look into "Snake Rock Cave," a famous san rock art site. (ascend and descend 600m), Königstein Summit 2.573m.
Day 4: White Lady Guest House
A 6-7 hours walk downwards brings us back to our starting point. Transfer per vehicle to Uis and overnight at White Lady Guesthouse or similar. (Descend 1.300m)
Day 5: Return to Windhoek
After breakfast we drive back to Windhoek.
