A good mixture of camping and mid-range accommodation allowing you to enjoy the best of Namibia's wilderness areas whilst appreciating a few nights of relative luxury. Highlights include Etosha National Park, the stark scenic beauty of Damaraland, Swakopmund and the Atlantic coast, Sesriem & Sossusvlei, Namib Desert horses, Luderitz, Fish River Canyon & the Kalahari Desert fringe.

Night 1 Windhoek, Rivendell Guesthouse, B&B |

Arrival in Windhoek. Here you will be collected by a representative from our transfer company and escorted to your Guesthouse. Spend your first night in Rivendell situated in the suburb area of Windhoek, only 15 minutes walking distance from the City Centre. Perhaps enjoy an introductory dinner in one of Windhoek's intimate restaurants. |

In the morning your 4x4 double cab hire car and camping equipment will be dropped off at the Guesthouse. Drive to the north of the country. Frans Indongo is situated 43km from Otjiwarongo on the road to Otavi and is an ideal stopover en-route to Etosha. Decorated in local African style, the lodge is surrounded by lush gardens boasting a lapa & pool from where guests can enjoy sundowners overlooking the beautiful thorn bush savanna. |

Night 3 Etosha National Park, Rest Camps, C |

The following day depart via Otavi to Namibia's biggest Wildlife Resort. Etosha in general offers excellent game viewing opportunities by either day while simply driving or by night from romantic floodlight waterholes. The Park is dominated by the vast Etosha saltpan and many waterholes exist, joined by a network of well maintained gravel roads to enable visitors the best chances of seeing the many inhabitants of Namibia's premier wildlife reserve. Stay in one of the National Rest Camps & relax with an after dinner drink overlooking the waterhole from where you may be lucky enough to witness rhino drinking or lion padding gently through an elephant herd. |

Nights 4&5 Etosha National Park, Rest Camps, A |

Make your way across the Park to another rest camp to enjoy similar facilities and wildlife viewing at a variety of different waterholes within this huge protected area. |

Nights 6&7 Damaraland, Xaragu Campsite, C |

After spending three days in the Park it is time to explore the mountainous Damaraland region further west in the country. Xaragu is a campsite with small shop, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and en-suite chalets with BBQ facilities. On day 7 you have the opportunity to visit Twyfelfontein, home to one of the largest collections of rock etchings in Southern Africa (some of these etchings have been estimated to be up to an incredible 6,000 years old) and the Petrified Forest. |

Nights 8-10 Swakopmund, Sea Breeze Guesthouse, B&B |

After all the days up in the North drive down to the coastal town Swakopmund at the Atlantic Ocean. The next three days you will have the opportunity to relax on the beach, experience good cuisine and take part in several optional activities. You could choose an optional Sandwich Harbour tour to introduce to you this internationally renowned wetland, a tandem skydive over the desert or a dolphin cruise from Walvis Bay. |

Nights 11&12 Sossusvlei, Sesriem Campsite, C |

Today drive south via Solitaire to the National Park Campsite at Sesriem, situated at the entrance to Sossusvlei. The next day you will have the opportunity to visit the oldest dunes in the world at Sossusvlei. The amazing scenery and spectacular surrounding area take some time to explore and are absolutely fascinating. |

Nights 13&14 Tsarisberge, Zebra River Lodge, FB |

Your drive today will take you through some rugged and beautiful scenery, from open gravel plains to mountain ranges. Zebra River Lodge is a very friendly and peaceful establishment where you can enjoy self-guided walks into the mountains, or take guided drives to the spring pools in the lush valley or through the extensive, private concession area. |

Nights 15&16 Lüderitz area, Klein Aus Vista lodge, DBB |

Drive further to the South. Klein Aus is a beautifully positioned private farm located on the edge of the Namib Desert with spectacular views from the boulder strewn hillsides across wide open plains. You may like to drive to Luderitz for the next day where you could enjoy an optional boat cruise or a drive out to Diaz Point to see some of the many bird species that can be found here. Nearby is the ghost town of Kolmanskop, abandoned to the desert when the diamond mining became unfeasible in this area. |

Nights 17&18 Fish River Canyon, Canon Roadhouse, C |

Today drive to the very South. This lodge is situated at the northern end of Fish River Canyon and close to the many viewpoints over this magnificent landmark, the second largest canyon in the world. If time allows, visit the viewpoints at Hobas and take a short walk along the Canyon edge to watch the spectacular sunset. The next day you have time to explore the Canyon and go on a few hikes. |

Night 19 Kalahari desert, Anib Lodge, DBB |

Your journey takes you back to the central part of Namibia. Anib is situated on the edge of the Kalahari Desert and the perfect place from which to explore and experience the rare beauty of this region. The lodge offers walking, 2-hour game drives and great sunset opportunities on their private reserve, followed by a gourmet meal in their intimate restaurant. |

In the morning drive to your last destination. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated and set in quiet gardens planted with indigenous trees and overlooking the wide open plains of the Kalahari. A guided tour of the farm workshops, and a farm drive are included in your stay, and additional optional activities are available. |

In the morning depart from the Lodge to Windhoek International Airport, here you will drop off your hire car and depart on your flight back home. |
