Details: Self-drive accommodated safari inclusive of zero excess 2x4 air-conditioned Toyota Avenza vehicle hire (or 4x4 air-conditioned Hilux for an extra cost), accommodation in 4 star lodges, chalets or guest houses on the meal basis stated, route map & 24 hour support.

Day 1: Villa Verdi, Windhoek
 

Arrival in Windhoek. Here you will be collected by a representative from our transfer company and escorted to your Guesthouse. Spend your first night in Villa Verdi Guesthouse situated in the suburb area of Windhoek, only 15 minutes walking distance from the City Centre. Perhaps enjoy an introductory dinner in one of Windhoek's intimate restaurants. Breakfast included.

Days 2 & 3: Okonjima Main Lodge, Otjiwarongo
 

In the morning your hired vehicle will be dropped off at the Guesthouse. Drive towards the north of the country to Okonjima Lodge. This renowned Lodge concentrates on rehabilitating cheetahs & other big cats as well as environmental education with local farmers, schools and visitors. Inclusive activities include cheetah & leopard tracking where guests have an excellent chance of getting up close and personal with these beautiful animals, lion viewing and informative bushman walks. All meals & activities included.

Days 4, 5 & 6: Eagle's Tented Camp, Etosha National Park
 

Etosha National Park, the biggest wildlife resort in Namibia where you have the opportunity to see four of the Big Five up close. Stay at Eagles Tented Camp where you will have time to relax and enjoy the nature. The Lodge offers a spa as well as great game viewing within the concession area. A guide will take you into Etosha on one full day excursion and night drives are available to enable you to see some of the bizarre and fascinating nocturnal inhabitants of this region. All meals & activities included.

Day 7 & 8 : Grootberg Lodge, Damaraland
 

Your journey takes you into the Damaraland region. Perched on the lip of the Grootberg Plateau with an infinite view down the Klip River Valley lies the newly developed Grootberg Lodge. The lodge consists of 11 thatched en suite chalets, with hardwood verandas that project one into the impossible view.  Gorgeous feather duvets, polished concrete floors, delicious rooibos and honey soaps, home-grown salads and vegetables and endless, endless views.

The 12 000 hectare exclusive use area that the lodge encompasses boasts a myriad of Damaraland flora and fauna, with Desert elephant, Black rhino and even lion occasionally ghosting an appearance. Spend the next two days exploring the area on breathtaking optional hikes & drives. Dinner & breakfast included.

Day 9: Doro !Nawas, Damaraland

Nestled against a small hill overlooking ancient plains and the typical table top escarpment is Doro!Nawas. Enjoy an unspoilt panoramic view of this diverse and dramatic landscape that holds all the signs of possible elephant sighting while relaxing on a private veranda or enjoying an optional 4x4 nature drive. The next day you have the opportunity to visit Twyfelfontein, home to one of the largest collections of rock etchings in Southern Africa , some of these etchings have been estimated to be up to an incredible 6,000 years old. Dinner & breakfast included.

Days 10, 11 & 12: Beach Lodge, Swakopmund
 

After all the days up in the North drive down to the coastal town Swakopmund at the Atlantic Ocean. Your room overlooks the beach & the restless ocean and has self-catering facilities should you wish to enjoy a candlelit dinner alone. The next three days you will have the opportunity to relax on the beach, experience good cuisine and take part on several optional activities. On your second day you could choose an optional Sandwich Harbour tour, which will introduce to you this internationally renowned wetland. Breakfast included.

Days 13 & 14: Sesriem, Namib Desert
 
Today drive further via Sesriem to Le Mirage Lodge, situated close to the entrance of Sossusvlei. Relax in your spacious suite with air conditioning, billowing curtains & an endless view of the desert. Perhaps enjoy star-gazing from the Jacuzzi after your 5 course dinner. During your stay, self-drive into Sesriem, or a guide could escort you into the Sossusvlei area, where you will see the oldest dunes in the world and breathtaking scenery and landscape. Dinner & breakfast included.
Day 15: Amani Lodge, Khomas Hochland
 

Despite it's proximity to Windhoek this lodge offers a tranquil bush escape from the city centre. At an altitude of 2150m, Amani is one of the highest lodges in Namibia, and is surrounded by the majestic Khomas Hochland mountains. Working with the Cheetah Conservation Fund of Namibia, Amani is host to a number of endangered big cats and the owners will accompany you on an informative and exciting tour where you will have excellent photo opportunities with these animals. Dinner & breakfast included + big cat excursion.

Day 16: Depart from Windhoek
 

In the morning depart from the Lodge to Windhoek International Airport, here you will drop off your hire car and depart on your flight back home.
