Day 1: Windhoek |

Land in Windhoek and transfer to your accommodation at Rivendell Guest House, located in a quiet suburb close to the city centre. Stay in a twin room with en-suite bathroom facilities. Explore the shops and restaurants of the city. Breakfast included. |

Day 2: Okaukuejo Rest Camp, Etosha National Park |

Collect your hired vehicle and depart this morning for your drive to Etosha National Park, Namibia's premier wildlife reserve. Your drive through Etosha's southern gate should take approximately 5 hours. You will stay in Etosha for this night, undertaking self guided game drives and staying at Okaukuejo in the southern area of the Park. This rest camp offers a restaurant, shop and swimming pool.

Day 3: Namutoni Rest Camp, Etosha National Park |

Namutoni is located inside Etosha National Park and offers excellent night time game viewing opportunities at the floodlit waterhole. You will stay in individual chalets with basic self-catering facilities. This rest camp offers the same facilities as Okaukuejo.

Day4: Oshakati Country Lodge, Oshakati |

Oshakati offers an ideal stopping place between Namibia's central region and the far north. The lodge offers comfortable en-suite rooms, and the impressive thatched main building houses a restaurant, lounge and bar. The lovely gardens, courtyard and swimming pool provide a relaxing place to unwind after your day's journey. Dinner & Breakfast included. |

Day 5: Kunene River Lodge, Ruacana Region |

Make your way further north to the Ruacana Falls. The Kunene River Lodge is located overlooking the beautiful Kunene River with stunning views across white water rapids and meandering stretches of water. Located 50km west of Ruacana Falls, the lodge offers bungalows with en-suite facilities, campsites, restaurant, bar, pool and much more. Activities include white water rafting and river boarding, bird watching, sun-downer cruises, canoeing, hiking & fishing. Enjoy a relaxing time at the lodge, and appreciate the lush riverine region of this mainly desert country. Breakfast included. |

Days 6&7: Epupa Camp, Epupa Falls |

Situated east of the Epupa Falls on the banks of the Kunene River, in north west Namibia is Epupa Camp. This small luxury tented camp offers you a relaxing yet exhilarating stay with personalised service, excellent food and the seclusion of a lush riverine wilderness. With its waving palms, spectacular sunsets and perennially flowing waters, the Epupa area offers much to see and do. Exciting geological and archaeological sites can be seen in the area. Birdlife in this riverine paradise is rich and varied, with some species endemic to the Kunene River environs. Epupa Camp offers guided tours to one of the Himba temporary villages where you can learn about the sacred fire, the twin that stayed behind, the holy oxen and how a day is spent in Africa by people who have no calendars. Epupa Camp works closely with the local community to provide them with access to development opportunities and direct benefits through tourism. |
Epupa Camp has a sound ecological policy that includes removing all solid waste from the area and whenever practical, recycling waste. The Epupa Falls, although not the biggest or highest in Africa, have unique beauty that entices visitors from all over. The falls are a short walk from Epupa Camp. All meals & activities included. |

Day 8: Opuwo Country Lodge, Opuwo |

Make your way to the southern region of Kaokoland today to Opuwo Country Lodge, located on the edge of the town of Opuwo, overlooking the beautiful scenery of Namibia's northwest. Self-drive excursions to Epupa Falls, Swartbooisdrift ( Kunene ), Kaoko, Otavi and other points of interest or a guided excursion to an authentic Himba village can be undertaken. Enjoy a perfect end to your day with your selected wine from the cellar and a magnificent sunset over the beautiful landscape of Namibia's extreme North West. Dinner & Breakfast included.

Day 9: Doro Nawas, Damaraland |

Located in the Damaraland region, this camp is set on the edge of the dry Aba-Huab River with spectacular views of the Etendeka Mountains to the north and the red sandstone cliffs of Twyfelfontein to the South. Activities mostly revolve around the game found in the riverbed and along the valleys, which may fill with floodwater during the rainy season. You're likely to spot a lot of wildlife, the rare Desert Elephant, Oryx, Kudu, Springbok, Black Rhino, Hartman's Mountain Zebra and Ostrich, as well as a variety of other species are found in this region. In addition, this is the perfect place for avid bird watchers. Day10: Cape Cross Lodge, Skeleton Coast |

You have a 4 hour drive today via the Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain, to the coast for a delightful break from the heat. This area is home to one of the largest fur seal colonies in Southern Africa, numbers can reach 100,000 during breeding season and this area of coast is also home to black backed jackal and the rare brown hyena. Cape Cross lodge is situated on the beach overlooking the wild Atlantic and offers beautifully furnished rooms, an open plan dining area and roaring fireplace. Enjoy a relaxing evening with an excellent meal overlooking the ocean. Dinner & Breakfast included. |

Days 11 & 12: Sea Breeze Guest House, Swakopmund |

Onwards to Swakopmund, a picturesque resort with many good seafood restaurants and shops as well as an interesting museum and aquarium. You will stay for two nights at Sea Breeze, a very comfortable and friendly guest house overlooking the beach and located just outside the town centre. Breakfast included. |

Day 13: Depart from Windhoek |

Return to Windhoek today, a drive of approximately 4.5 hours, in time to connect with your onward flight.
