Day 1:Windhoek |

Windhoek - Land in Windhoek, collect your hire vehicle and transfer to your accommodation at the Heinitzburg Hotel, an elegant and exclusive establishment situated high in the hillsides of Windhoek overlooking the city. Explore the shops and restaurants of the city if time allows. Stay in luxurious surroundings, maybe enjoy the excellent restaurant within the hotel. Breakfast included. |

Day 2: Okonjima Lodge and Africat Foundation |

Depart Windhoek this morning and drive northwards to Okonjima Lodge, situated just south of Otjiwarongo and around 3.5 hours from Windhoek. This lodge is located on the same concession area as the Africat Foundation, a charitable organisation committed to the conservation of Namibia's big cat populations. You will find out more about the work of Africat during the inclusive afternoon and morning drives where you will perhaps have the chance to see leopard, cheetah and lion. Okonjima Lodge offers luxurious and friendly accommodation in beautiful surroundings. All meals and activities included. |

Day 3 -5: Mundulea Nature Reserve, Otavi Mountains (luxury camping) |

Your drive north this morning takes you through Otjiwarongo and towards Otavi, the journey should take around 2.5 hours. Enjoy the next three nights exploring a unique and unspoilt area of Namibia. This beautiful private farm is located 25 minutes drive from Otavi and is characterised by Dolomite crags, lush green valleys and an abundance of fascinating flora and fauna ranging from large mammals to reptiles, many varied bird species and a magnificent variation of floral habitat. Your personal guide has lived and worked as a guide and photographer throughout Namibia for many years and has a thorough knowledge of the unique geology and wildlife heritage of his country. Walks are geared to your personal interests and stamina, and camp sites will be set up in advance of your arrival. Take time to learn about this ancient region and the interactions of its many inhabitants. All meals, exclusive walking activities and local beverages included. |

Day 6: Onguma Tented Camp, Eastern Etosha |

After departing Mundulea, drive north today, to Onguma Tented Camp located just outside the eastern gate of Etosha National Park. The journey should take around 2 hours. The newly established Onguma Tented Camp consists of seven luxury permanent tents, each overlooking the beautiful waterhole. The main complex also overlooks the waterhole and includes reception area, lounge, wine cellar, bar & dining area. The bird life in this area is outstanding with over 300 species having been recorded. Dinner & breakfast included. |

Days 7 & 8: Ongava Lodge, Etosha National Park |

Depart this morning for your drive through Etosha National Park, Namibia's premier wildlife reserve. Perhaps stop at Halali, the central rest camp inside Etosha, for lunch and a brief rest during the heat of the day before continuing and exiting the Park via the southern gate. Ongava Lodge is located in a private nature reserve bordering the Etosha National Park, and in addition to the inclusive early morning and late afternoon game drives through the Park itself, you will be able to enjoy viewing the many species present around the lodge waterhole. Dinner & breakfast included on day 7, all meals and activities included on day 8. |

Day 9: Mowani Mountain Lodge, Damaraland |

Continue your journey this morning, driving towards Damaraland, the journey should take around 4 hours. You may like to take a look at the Petrified Forest on your way, a bizarre collection of largely intact gymnosperm trees which have been preserved and transformed into stone by ongoing anaerobic conditions. Mowani is a beautiful lodge, tucked away in the huge boulders that characterise this unique area. The thatch buildings and tented rooms merge perfectly with the environment. Facilities include a swimming pool, beautiful viewing point, shady lounge, bar & dining area. Dinner & breakfast included. |

Days 10 & 11: Erongo Wilderness Lodge |

Make your way through the dry interior of Namibia, towards Omaruru and the beautiful Erongo Mountains. The lodge is set in the foothills of these mountains on the edge of the enormous Erongo Crater. The camp is a small, 10-room owner managed lodge, set into the surrounding boulder-strewn landscape. The rooms are all linked by walk ways meandering between the boulders, overlooked by the main lodge building perched above. One guided walk is included each day, either in the morning or the afternoon, the camp also offers many self-guided walking trails and nature drives into the 200,000 ha conservation area. Birding is one of the lodge's main attractions with 48 different species been sighted in the immediate vicinity, including Black Eagle, Rosy Faced Lovebird & Ruppell's Parrot. Dinner & brunch included + a daily guided walk. |

Days 12 & 13: Swakopmund |

Continue your drive towards the coast today. Swakopmund is a picturesque resort with many good seafood restaurants and shops as well as an interesting museum and aquarium. You will stay in the Hansa Hotel. This beautiful old building is situated in the centre of Swakopmund, close to shops and restaurants as well as the main beaches. Breakfast included. A highly recommended optional day trip to the marine sanctuary of Sandwich Harbour can also be included, just ask for details. |

Days 14 & 15: Kulala Wilderness Lodge, near Sesriem |

Set off this morning for the dunes of the Namib Desert, Sesriem and Sossusvlei. The drive should take approximately 5 hours, you will arrive at Kulala Lodge this afternoon. This beautifully decorated and relaxing establishment has a bar, restaurant and pool. Each private luxury tent has a roof top sleeping platform where you may choose to enjoy the spectacular night sky in comfort. Wake early the following morning and take an inclusive trip into Sossusvlei. Kulala Lodge has a private entrance to the National Park from where you will make your way through the magnificent dune fields to Sossusvlei, an ancient saltpan which occasionally floods with water in years of exceptional rainfall. Explore the dunes around the saltpan of Sossusvlei, and maybe walk across the sand to Deadvlei, a bizarre collection of ancient camelthorn trees and a photographers dream. Return to the lodge for an afternoon siesta, maybe take a nature drive this afternoon, or relax around the pool. Dinner & breakfast included on day 14, all meals & activities included on day 15. |

Day 16: Depart from Windhoek |

Return to Windhoek today, a drive of approximately 5 hours, in time to connect with your onward flight.
