Days 1, 2 & 3: Cape Town |

Land at Cape Town International airport and pick up your hire car to drive to your hotel for the next three nights, located close to Camps Bay. The Twelve Apostles Hotel is an exclusive establishment overlooking the ocean, situated just a short drive from the Victoria & Albert waterfront and many restaurants, shops and swimming beaches. Each spacious, airy room enjoys stunning sea or mountain views and is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, phone, safe and mini bar. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, bar, swimming pools and a private cinema. Over the next three days, relax and enjoy this cosmopolitan city, visit the many museums, art galleries & markets or explore Robben Island and the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens. Days 4&5: Stellenbosch area |

You have a short drive today through picturesque scenery to the town of Stellenbosch, South Africa's premier wine producing region. You will stay at La Petite Ferme winery and guest suites, located high above the town of Franschhoek. Each of the suites are individually decorated and have an oval bathtub, fireplace, TV, mini bar and private swimming pool. From here you can organise wine tours to visit some of the other many vineyards in the area. Breakfast included.

Days 6&7: Hermanus |

Today you have a scenic drive along the coast to Hermanus, the whale watching capital of South Africa. The best time for seeing the many whales which come to calve in the waters is from mid June to November. During this time, the whales often come within metres of the shore and sightings are spectacular. The Hermanus Marine Hotel is a beautifully decorated and friendly hotel overlooking the ocean with a swimming pool, quiet rooms and two excellent restaurants offering superb seafood and a relaxing ambience.
Walks along the coastal pathways are lovely, and there are many clean and peaceful beaches nearby. The Fernkloof Nature Reserve hosts an amazing variety of the endemic Fynbos species, don't miss the carpets of colourful fynbos which cover this steep sided valley, the view of the ocean from the hiking trails is spectacular! Day 8: Oudtshoorn |

You will drive further up the beautiful Garden Route today, and inland a short distance to Oudtshoorn. This area is well known for ostrich farming and is also close by to the Cango Caves. You will stay at the Rosenhof Country Lodge, situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn on route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms. The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to stylishly decorated bedrooms, each individually furnished. Breakfast included.

Days 9&10: Knysna |

A short drive will bring you back to the coast and to the historic town of Knysna with the remnants of ancient forest and the peaceful lagoon. You will stay at the River Club, a beautiful series of self-catering or B&B luxury log chalets. Each chalet has a private deck with a BBQ, and the resort has a swimming pool, restaurant and private jetty. The River Club is within walking distance of the town, and you can enjoy an optional trip on the Knysna steam train or one of the lagoon ferries, both of which offer a unique perspective of this environment. Breakfast included. |

Days 11&12: Tsitsikamma |

A little further from Knysna is Tsitsikamma, a tranquil area of forest, ocean front and sparkling mountain streams. You will stay at The Fernery, the beautiful en-suite chalets are nestled along the river bank. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, light lunches and excellent four course dinners. Optional activities include jogging, hiking, birding, cycling routes (mountain bikes are available for hire), forest trails and picnics, fishing and rowing on the dam. Breakfast included. |

Day 13: Port Elizabeth |

You have a slightly longer drive along the coast today to Port Elizabeth, a friendly city built on steep hillsides overlooking Algoa Bay . You will stay at Hacklewood Hill, a charming Victorian manor built in 1898 and furnished with period furniture and offering excellent cuisine. The luxury en-suite rooms provide the perfect base from which to enjoy the final night of your holiday. Breakfast included. |
